LONDON - The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) has launched its first annual impact report which reveals that two-thirds of its members come from the apparel and textiles sector.
The non-profit, which monitors companies' supply chains to help them ensure they are trading ethically, has 97 corporate members, 64 of which are in the apparel and textiles industry.
The annual report, funded by the British government's Department for International Development (DFID), aims to provide a snapshot of the impacts of the ETI's work with members, partners and other key stakeholders around the World.
