MUMBAI – Sustainability initiative Fashion for Good (FFG) has announced the second batch of innovators to join its South Asia Innovation Programme; these burgeoning companies bring with them promising new solutions in raw materials, wet processing, packaging, end-of-use and digital acceleration.
The chosen nine start-ups were whittled down from a group of 19 that joined Fashion for Good and its corporate partners for Selection Day via webinar. It’s the second time FFG has held this event via digital means, having announced the first group of innovators to join its innovation programme in March.
“We’re extremely pleased to welcome nine new innovators into our second batch of the South Asia Programme,” said the initiative’s managing director, Katrin Ley. “Now more than ever, it’s important to support and scale the innovations in one of the industry’s most crucial manufacturing regions that can provide vital solutions to help build back stronger, more sustainable and resilient.”
