BANBURY - A new report from UK waste recycling charity WRAP claims to demonstrate potential mass market appeal for circular business models in the fashion industry such as rental and reuse.
However, it adds that consumer interest in these new business models for the fashion industry appears to be stronger in the US, India and Italy than it is in the UK and Northern Europe.
UK waste recycling charity WRAP is behind the new report, entitled ‘Changing our clothes: Why the clothing sector should adopt new business models’, which argues that the consumption of clothing is outpacing utilisation.
