LUBBOCK - Textile Exchange has announced that its 2020 Textile Sustainability Conference, which was due to be held in Dublin, will instead be a fully online, virtual experience.
The decision was taken because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and after what Textile Exchange described as "thoughtful discussions" involving its board of directors and some member companies.
"We believe this is the safest approach for the wellbeing of our global audience and we are excited that a virtual event makes it possible to broaden the learning opportunities and engagement with the industry at this time," Textile Exchange said in a statement.
