BERGAMO – Italian chemicals, plastics and synthetic fibre producer Radici Group has coincided the launch of its new recycled nylon 6 material with the acquisition of native recycler Zeta Polimeri, actions the firm believes can drastically accelerate its ambition of aligning with the principles of the circular economy.
The company’s Rencycle fibre makes use of pre-consumer material waste and as such reportedly yields substantial resource savings such as cutting back on energy by 87 per cent and water by 90 per cent.
“We are working on a puzzle now close to completion,” says Angelo Radici, president of RadiciGroup.
