ZUG – The family which founded fashion retailer C&A has today launched a new foundation which it says will aim to address the dual crises of climate change and inequality.
The Brenninkmeijer family, which has a business empire spanning fashion, real estate and asset management, says the new Laudes Foundation will advance the work of its influential C&A Foundation and will vie to create “positive change in the global fashion system”.
It hopes that by redirecting the flow of capital in select areas it can encourage good business practices and inspire change.
