SAN FRANCISCO - Circular economy retailer The RealReal has responded to Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri's 'CEO Carbon Neutral Challenge' by pledging to become carbon neutral by 2021.
The company has brought in third party sustainability consultants Shift Advantage, headquartered in Portland, Oregon, to help meet it the target.
The consultants are currently analysing The RealReal’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in its business and its supply chain, collecting data that will be used to implement reductions, as well as planning measures to offset unavoidable emissions.
