PARIS - Textile recycling company Waste2Wear claims to have produced the world's first collection of plastics made from recycled ocean plastic fabrics that is fully traceable using blockchain technology.
Waste2Wear launched a beta version of its blockchain system, embedded in its new Ocean Fabrics collection, at the Première Vision international textile fair in Paris.
The company, a frontrunner in creating fabrics from plastic waste, says using blockchain technology will bring more transparency to the supply-chain of recycled textiles.
