WASHINGTON – A new report claims that companies exhibiting greater supply chain transparency measures benefit from “better reputations, greater operational efficiency, improved legal compliance, and increased access to capital.”
ICAR (International Corporate Accountability Roundtable), the organisation which published the findings, has now called on firms from across the apparel and footwear industries to join the likes of Nike, Patagonia and Esprit in making a firm pledge to integrate transparency within supply chains.
