STOCKHOLM – An updated GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) standard on water stress – a pressing issue for many firms in the garment sector, particularly manufacturing and finishing – has now been introduced.
The organisation asserts that companies operating in regions with high levels of water stress have an urgent responsibility to assess their impacts and make more informed water stewardship choices.
