US retail giant Walmart is partnering on a pilot programme aimed at producing non-GMO natural dyes for the textile sector from agricultural waste.
Walmart has launched a series of pilot programmes with several India-based start-ups aimed at enhancing its supply chain resilience and boosting its commitment to sustainable sourcing for its clothing and textiles arm.
The raft of pilot programmes includes a partnership with Pune-based KBCols, which specialises in producing non-GMO natural dyes from agricultural waste.
