Chinese company claims new AI-powered technology for sorting blended materials will overcome a bottleneck in the textile recycling industry

DONGGUAN - Chinese tech firm DataBeyond Technology has launched what it claims is the country's first AI-powered optical sorter for blended fabrics to address a long-standing challenge in textile recycling.

DataBeyond's 'AI Hyperspectral Optical Sorter for Blended Fabrics' integrates advanced artificial intelligence algorithms with hyperspectral recognition technology to "efficiently and accurately" separate different kinds of blended textiles.
