WASHINGTON – The US government has published its first-ever ‘Trade Strategy to Combat Forced Labor’ policy, which outlines the country’s approach to using trade tools to combat forced labour.
The document outlines a number of goals and priority actions that United States Trade Representative (USTR) has achieved during the outgoing Biden administration, as well as areas for potential future action under the incoming Trump government.
