LONDON - The British fashion industry is failing to act on the climate crisis with fewer than 4% of brands affiliated to the British Fashion Council (BFC) able to demonstrate any emissions reduction targets, new research suggests.

The report from ethical non-profit Collective Fashion Justice (CFJ) also shows that even fewer, just 2.4% of brands, have a science-based target aligned with the Paris Agreement.
