DHAKA - Garment manufacturers in Bangladesh are denying reports that fashion brands are reducing orders because of the current situation following the collapse of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government amidst violent protests.

It comes after the UK's influential Financial Times newspaper published the claims in a story headlined: 'Global fashion brands cut Bangladesh orders after turmoil'.
