PHNOM PENH - The Better Factories Cambodia (BFC) initiative's role as watchdog of the country's garment industry is at risk due to failures to uncover breaches of workers' rights, according to a new report.
Entitled 'Barriers to Representation: Freedom of Association in Cambodia', the report was written by Center for Alliance of Labor and Human Rights (CENTRAL), Cambodian Alliance of Trade Unions (CATU) and Coalition of Cambodian Apparel Workers’ Democratic Union (C.CAWDU), and funded by the Solidar Suisse NGO.
