CAMBRIDGE – Chemical sector innovator Alchemie Technology has received a £750,000 ($945,000) grant from Innovate UK to help it scale up its low carbon, textile finishing technology in Taiwan.
The funds will be put towards its partnership with Taiwanese textile manufacturer JSRTEX Group, with the aim of replacing the textile lamination processes with the development of a more sustainable method for the non-contact application of polyurethane coatings to fabrics.
