AMSTERDAM – Speaking to Ecotextile News today at the on-going Kingpins denim exhibition in the Netherlands, Lenzing CEO Stephan Sielaff said that last week’s fire at its HQ facility in Austria won’t have a major impact on its output although the root cause is still to be determined.
Lenzing said there was “no danger to residents or the environment at any time” during the blaze at its viscose and modal facility in which one person was slightly injured and received medical treatment before being discharged from hospital.
