BRUSSELS - The Euratex textile industry trade body has published a manifesto of actions it would like to see from the European Union (EU) to ensure the sector remains competitive amidst growing demands for sustainability.
It includes financial incentives and standard requirements for innovative new sustainable textile products which Euratex says are hampered by the fact they often carry a price premium as they are being scaled up.
