AMSTERDAM - Finnish textile fibre innovator Spinnova has unveiled the first blended denim fabrics made with its fibre at the Kingpins denim trade show in Amsterdam.
Spinnova's patented technology claims to produce wood-based cellulose fibre with no potentially hazardous chemicals or waste, and cutting out 99% of the water used and 74% of the CO2 emissions generated in cotton production.
