PLYMOUTH – British clothing brand BAM – which makes viscose clothing derived from the raw material bamboo – has launched a new service which it claims will allow customers to track the entire supply chain of every product it sells.
The 'BAM DNA' initiative has been created with Dutch sustainability platform Green Story in a bid to make public the environmental impact of the company's products.
BAM says the service, being launched across the company's entire clothing range this month, is the result of five years of "forensic work" to uncover every step of its supply chain.
