BERLIN - Danish fashion designer Nikolaj Storm has launched an exclusive circular collection made solely with synthetic fabrics for German online retailer Zalando.
Storm, who won the Zalando Sustainability Award Spring/Summer 2022, said he made a conscious decision to use only synthetics - including recycled polyester and Lycra T400 - to change perception of the fibres.
The collection is accompanied by an evaluation report by independent sustainability consultancy Anthesis, commissioned by Zalando, to provide transparency on the circular design practices used.
