WASHINGTON – Four major fashion industry bodies have come together to issue joint guidelines on what they hope to see from new legislation aimed at advancing sustainability and social responsibility.
The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA), the Accessories Council, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the Responsible Business Coalition (RBC) have jointly released the 'THREADS Protocol'.
They say the protocol has been developed, on behalf of thousands of brands and organisations, to assist policymakers in ensuring their best intentions result in implementable and successful solutions.
