DUBLIN - Fashion giant Primark has announced it is to become the first retailer to feature Spanish textile recycler Recover’s RColorBlend fibre - a blend of recycled cotton from textile waste and low impact dyed recycled polyester - at scale.
RColorBlend is produced by blending Recover’s coloured recycled fibre from textile waste with a recycled carrier fibre. Colour accuracy is achieved by mixing the two types of fibres, with no additional garment dye required.
Primark's RColorBlend leisurewear range - which includes t-shirts priced at £6 and sweatshirts priced at £11 - will be available to customers in selected stores across all 14 of its markets in Europe and the US.
