BERLIN – As many as 25 European fashion organisations have formed a coalition in a bid to accelerate the transition towards a more “sustainable, innovative and inclusive creative future”.
Led by Fashion Council Germany, the organisations – which include Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), the Austrian Fashion Association, the Norwegian Fashion Hub and the Baltic Fashion Federation – have committed to developing a strategy with recommendations on how to address the industry’s needs across the continent.
Carlo Capasa, chairman of the signatory organisation Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, commented: “Today it is more important than ever that the fashion system demonstrate cohesion in affirming the European common values, with sustainability, social responsibility, creatively and durability at the forefront.”
