LONDON – Fashion retailer Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP) is expanding on its recent move into resale by introducing a new secondhand service for its Mr Porter menswear brand, and will launch its Net-A-Porter womenswear resale in Hong Kong, Germany and the US, following a successful spell in the UK.
The company – which has vowed to “contribute to a more circular and sustainable fashion system” – took its first steps into the resale space in October of last year and says it’s proven popular amongst younger generations.
Launching Mr Porter Resell for men’s pre-owned apparel will look to cater to a “historically underserviced” market segment, the firm says, which next month will introduce resale options on its Outnet branded items.
