COWES – The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s (EMF) Jeans Redesign Project has reached 100 signatories having onboarded a further nine brands, including Inditex’s Zara, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, Lefties and Stradivarius.
All signatories – including the likes of H&M, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger – pledge to work by guidelines on garment durability, material health, recyclability and traceability.
“As these companies embark on their Jeans Redesign journey, they’ll use the project as a starting point and space to test and demonstrate how all products can be designed so that they are used more, made to be made again, and made from safe and recycled or renewable inputs," the foundation said in a statement.
