BRUSSELS - European textile and clothing industry trade body Euratex has shared its vision for the European Union's (EU) proposed new strategy for the sector.
It says the EU Sustainable Textiles Strategy, due to be published before the end of 2021, offers an opportunity to shape a new European framework for an industry at a crossroads.
Euratex is calling for the strategy to focus on innovation, quality and sustainability, embrace new "green and digital" skills, and utilise the value of its skilled workforce.
