GREENSBORO - Denim brand Lee Jeans has received Cradle to Cradle Gold accreditation for a new range of selvedge jeans, made in co-operation with the Artistic Milliners vertically-integrated manufacturer in Pakistan.
The Gold-certified Aureola jeans are made from organic cotton, offer 'stretch' and are 100 per cent recyclable. A second range, Nymph, has received Bronze Cradle to Cradle certification.
Both have met the requirements of the Cradle Products Innovation Institute across the standard’s five performance categories: material health, material reuse, renewable energy and carbon management, water stewardship, and social fairness.
