TOKYO – Fast Retailing, the owner of the Uniqlo brand, has signed a new agreement with Japanese second-hand fashion firm Mercari which it says will streamline the integration of apparel ranges on its platform and make for a more seamless customer experience.
The companies have a strong partnership, with Uniqlo reportedly one of the best performing brands on Mercari’s site. This new deal cements their close ties and will centre on sharing product and launch information and bypassing potential rights infringements.
