LONDON - The Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) has written to Boohoo chairman Mahmud Kamani urging him to link executive bonuses to the fast fashion group's progress on workers’ rights and environmental sustainability.
The call came in a letter seeking updates on commitments to environmental and social responsibilities made by Boohoo when the company gave evidence to the committee's inquiry into fast fashion.
The letter asked whether Boohoo had agreed to link financial incentives to ESG improvements, such as environmental sustainability and the welfare of workers, which group chairman Mahmud Kamani agreed to consider when giving evidence.
