DENVER – The VF Corporation fashion company, which owns brands including The North Face, Timberland and Vans, has announced a target of eliminating all single-use plastic packaging, including polybags, by 2025.
And the company has pledged that all remaining non-plastic packaging used by VF and its brands will be reduced, originate from sustainable sources and be designed for reuse or recyclability.
VF's packaging goals also include an interim commitment to ensure that all single-use plastics in product packaging are 100 per cent recycled, bio-based, or a combination of the two, by 2023.
