AARHUS – Danish homeware retailer Jysk has pledged that by 2024, its textile-based products will use only ‘sustainable’ cotton, that’s either organic, recycled or sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
“We have been focusing on cotton for a long time,” said the firm’s communications and CSR director, Rune Jungberg Pedersen. “Now we are ready to take the next big step regarding the rest of the assortment and set a specific goal, which includes all of our textile products.”
