LONDON – The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has published its 2020 ‘A List’ which spotlights the good work of businesses across industry to tackle climate change, deforestation and water security.
This year, 313 companies including Burberry, H&M, Fast Retailing, Levi’s and Lenzing have been hailed for their exemplary efforts, out of more than 5,800 firms.
Dexter Galvin, global director of corporations and supply chains at CDP, commented: “This week marks exactly five years since global leaders shook hands on the Paris Agreement. It’s encouraging that 70 per cent more companies are now reporting on their environmental action than in 2015, and that, this year, over 300 have reached the A List.”
