GOTHENBURG - Swedish fashion retailer Kappahl says it has increased the proportion of its goods made from 'more sustainably' sourced materials to 70 per cent.
Five years ago, the figure was just 19 per cent and the company, which also owns Newbie and Shop Online, says its target of reaching 100 per cent more sustainably sourced products by 2025 is within reach.
Sandra Roos, head of sustainability at KappAhl, explained why the company favoured the use of the phrase 'more sustainable'.
