LUBBOCK - Textile Exchange has announced the release of Organic Content Standard 3.0, the latest incarnation of its original standard which aims to increase organic agriculture production.
The new Organic Content Standard (OCS) was drawn up following Textile Exchange's 'standard setting procedures' after the conclusion of a revision process involving an international working group.
Originally released in 2013, the OCS aims to provide the industry with a tool to verify the organically grown content of products, to communicate organically grown content claims, and to provide organic farmers with access to the global organic market.
