ANN ARBOR - American product testing, inspection and certification organisation NSF International has issued a war cry urging the textile industry to ditch the “outdated” term of 'supply chains’ in favour of ‘supply networks’, which the firm’s senior business development manager, Jeff Wilson, believes better reflects the landscape in which modern technology can enable a shift to a better connected, circular and more sustainable sector.
“If the definition of insanity is saying and doing the same things over and over and expecting different results, it’s time to start saying and doing things differently,” he insists.
