KOBE – Japanese sportswear brand Asics has been recognised for its efforts over the past year to mitigate carbon emissions within its supply chain with a spot on the Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) company leaderboard.
More than 4,800 firms have been assessed by environmental impact non-profit CDP. Based on a questionnaire on governance, targets, scope three indirect emissions and value chain engagement, Asics has ranked amongst the top three per cent and is only of only 160 companies to make the CDP’s list.
