AMSTERDAM – Global sustainability initiative Fashion for Good (FFG) has held an Innovation Day in South Asia ahead of the introduction of its regional innovation programme in January.
At the event, ten textile technologies were presented with representatives of fledgling firms hoping to secure a spot on the upcoming Accelerator programme – which incubates sustainable solutions deemed to hold the greatest potential, helps scale them up and provides networking opportunities with industry heavyweights.
South Asia, described a “rapidly growing region” by FFG’s managing director Katrin Ley when the programme was first mentioned back in June, marks a change of pace from the Dutch NGO as it looks to broaden its remit.
