AMSTERDAM — The Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP) has announced the launch of an industry tool designed to replace existing social and labor audits in the sizeable apparel industries of China, India, Sri Lanka and Taiwan.
SLCP signatories, of which there are now over 200, have collaborated to solve the problem of audit fatigue within the apparel & footwear sectors. This process has yielded one single Converged Assessment Framework to replace the multitude of social and labor audits that currently exist.
