The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) gives an update on a proposed restriction for placing on the market of intentionally-added microplastics. This proposal was submitted to ECHA’s scientific committees on 11 January 2019.
This webinar introduces the detail of the proposal and clarifies the objectives of the public consultation. ECHA experts answer questions on the proposal and how companies can prepare and submit comments under the consultation process.
The proposal is expected to prevent the release of 500,000 tonnes of microplastics over 20 years.
