ftcWASHINGTON - The US Federal Trade Commission is taking a transparent approach as it makes changes to its Wool Products Labelling rules by inviting public comments. Proposed changes include allowing certain hang-tags disclosing fibre trademarks and performance even if they do not disclose the product’s full fibre content, incorporating the Wool Act’s new definitions for cashmere and very fine wools, and clarifying descriptions of products containing virgin or new wool.
