PONTEFRACT – MCL Global, the publisher of Ecotextile News magazine is delighted to become a member of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA).
The mission of EOCA is to support valuable conservation work by raising funds from within the European Outdoor sector and promoting care and respect for wild places. The ‘not for profit’ organisation recently announced that top Austrian climber, Hansjörg Auer, has agreed to become the association’s third ambassador.
As the only publisher that focuses on textiles and environmental issues, MCL Global shares many of the same objectives of EOCA and applauds its work in this field. MCL Global founder, John Mowbray studied toxicology and has a first degree in Environmental biology, together with a track record of publishing environmental titles dating back over 20 years.
“Now that Ecotextile News is established at the environmental magazine for global textile and clothing industries, we want to put something back into the environment at grass roots level, and support the NGO’s and brands who are taking environmental issues seriously through a ‘hands on’ approach. Working together we can all make a real difference and we urge many more of our readers to sign up to EOCA.”
