{besps}ss/ETNwebsite{/besps}LEEDS – Ecotextile News has launched a brand new web-site today which allows our readers and web-site members improved access to the world’s largest news and information resource on the sustainable textile and clothing sectors.

In addition to the obvious design and layout improvements of the new web-site, we’ve also focused carefully on navigation in order to ensure the new content we produce each day and the thousands of archived stories we hold on-line are easier for you to find, use and share.

What’s new:

•    A fresh, updated design, with more space for front page stories

•    Better use of video and images

•    Fully searchable categorisation of stories

•    Clearer and more prominent labelling and signposting of key stories, whether you are on the front page or a story page

•    A better indication of which are the most recent headlines

•    Easier ways to share stories with others using social networking and share tools

•    Signed up members can comment on individual stories

•    Archived weekly e-newsletters

•    Improved functionality for digitised back issues

•    Easier ways to sign up to our content

Thousands of people every week already use Ecotextile News so there’s clearly a lot that’s working fine with the site. However, we want to provide additional value and functionality to the site to complement our content in the monthly magazine and to ensure we provide the best possible news service to both our subscribers and web-site members going forward.
