SHANGHAI – Further details have emerged of the upcoming ZDHC–CNTAC conference on hazardous chemical control & sustainable textile manufacturing which will focus on hands-on experience of using the new the ZDHC Chemical Gateway, an online textile chemical compliance portal formerly known as the ZDHC Chemical Registry. Following the event, up to 30 suppliers will be invited to participate in the platform’s final stage of testing.
The zero discharge of hazardous chemicals group (ZDHC) is working to eliminate hazardous chemicals is through its Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL), a standard which sets limits on the use of key chemicals in the textile manufacturing process. It’s joint event with the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) will be held on 8th November at the Marriot Parkview, Shanghai, China.
