BEIJING - China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) and the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) will co-organise an organic textiles roundtable in Xinjiang Province on 19 September in recognition of the growing demand for organic textiles in China. The event will look at the scale of the organic textile industry in China as well efforts to harmonise Chinese national standards on organic textiles. Representation from the Chinese standardisation and certification authorities and the BCI has already been confirmed.
