AMSTERDAM – Greenpeace has contacted Ecotextile News to clarify its position on the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) group following the article we published this week on the launch of the latest Detox Catwalk. The environmental action group has outlined to us, in some detail, the concerns it has with regards to the ZDHC, most notably the ZDHC Manufacturer's Restricted Substance List (MRSL) v1.1 which – Greenpeace claims – will not "translate into truly clean production on the ground."
