WAKEFIELD – A new publication which outlines the main sustainability issues in 15 leading garment sourcing destinations has today gone to press. The 120-page Sustainable Sourcing Map examines labour compliance and environmental pollution issues related to garment manufacture in each of the countries, among them Bangladesh, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, China, Indonesia and Turkey. The report also provides brands and retailers with an indication of the overall eco-political situation in each of the sourcing countries, informing readers about the overriding sustainability issues they will face when choosing to source from a particular destination.
