BEIJING – The Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) has launched a new mobile app which allows consumers to monitor air pollution in real-time, and then email government officials if levels are too high. The Chinese not-for-profit organisation has also told Ecotextile News that in 2015 it will be launching a similar app for water pollution – which is expected to have a big impact on the textile dyeing sector in China.
