STOCKHOLM – Swedish homewear textiles giant Ikea has more than doubled its use of sustainable cotton in 2013 to 72 per cent of the cotton it uses, up from 34 per cent in in 2012. Ikea also aims to source 100 per cent of its cotton from ‘more sustainable sources’ by the end of its financial year 2015.
